So a couple nights ago Angela was telling the kids that the
leprechauns were going to come in the middle of the night to look for
a pot of gold. I mentioned to them, not thinking of course, that
leprechauns were little evil guys that suck the life out of babies.
Now why would I say something like that to a 5 and 2 year old? I have
no idea. I think I was tired and probably was imagining the movie
Cat's Eye or something like that. Needless to say Makena had her
blankets pulled all the way over her head that night and told Angela
she was hiding from the evil leprechauns. Last night I found this taped
to the outside of her and Christian's door. It was good to see there was nothing about the life being sucked out of babies mentioned in the note. Hopefully she forgot about that part.
